Communion meditation at Colony Christian Church Sunday was given by Darren McGhee, titled One Body.
Most people see membership as mindless participation involving no specific tasks. But Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:16-17, that because of the Lords Supper, we share in the death of Christ. Pastor Chase Riebel gave the sermon on week 14 of the Believe series, single-mindedness. Our single-mindedness needs to be focused on God. Our priorities need to be sharing the gospel with others, serving others, and seeking Gods plan for our life. We do this by aligning our thoughts with the will and commands of God. (Ref: Deut 6:4-9, Matt 14:22-33 and 20:28, John 13:15,Acts 5, Romans 12:1, Deut 28 & 30)
